The Age of Conversation: a collaborative e-book

Posted by Connie Reece on April 21, 2020 at 9:50 am

Age of ConversationIt started as a dare by Gavin Heaton to Drew McLellan, and turned into a full-fledged e-book with more than 100 authors. I’m tickled to be one of them.

When I read the call for authors on Drew McLellan’s blog, I jumped at the chance to contribute to a project that is all about my passion: making connections through conversation. My chapter will be called “The Two-step of Conversational Writing.”

All proceeds from the project will go to charity, and the book is dedicated to Sandra Kerley, mother of well-known marketing blogger and conversation champion CK. (Adding her to my blogroll now.)

Here’s the final list of bloggers signed up to write a chapter, with links.

CK, thanks for stopping by! And thanks for the kind words.

I really enjoyed your bunny pictures today — it was like sitting in your living room and flipping through old photo albums with you, enjoying conversation and the sharing of memories. My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom, and I’m glad to be part of a project that will help keep her memory alive.

Hi Connie:

Thank you for helping spread the word on the project. Anything that helps children is worth doing. And it’s giving us all a chance to meet talented professionals around the world.

Valeria, thanks for stopping by. Joining this project was a no-brainer for me. Writing about something I love AND helping a worthwhile cause at the same time. Now it’s turning into even more than I imagined, as I realize the impact of being connected to global leaders in the field of conversational writing and social marketing. A truly innovative project!
