Do you know what these are?
They were the height of communications convenience at one time.
They were everywhere. Everyone knew how to use them. Now, they’re seen less and less, and most folks chuckle a bit when they spot one.
The communications world has passed them by. Did they see it coming? I’ll bet they didn’t.
Pulse check - is your public relations and marketing strategy still up to speed….for 1999? Congrats. That was 10 years ago.
Think about how your market, your audience, your customers communicate now, and think about how the Web and social media continue to change how they communicate. Did you know that the fastest-growing demographic on Facebook is women 55 and older? If that’s part of your customer base, are YOU present where THEY are?
Don’t let your company be “that guy” - the equivalent of a sad, lonely and empty pay phone booth.

Hi Shelia, The phone booth photo really hits home. You are so right about the need to keep-up. Some of us old folks are working on it. I just found your blog, and will be back to learn more. Thanks.
